FAQ

How Do I Reserve My Wedding Date?

Weddings are reserved on a first come, first served basis.  If you decide you’d like to contract our services, we will prepare our standard performance contract, specifying the ensemble of your choice, wedding date and time, location, and details you can expect from us, such as attire and timeliness.  A deposit of 50% is needed to reserve your date, and the balance is due 30 days before the event.

Will You Help Me Choose Music?

We have an extensive library of music that includes many favorite classical, popular, and wedding songs.  We will help you as much as needed with your music selections. You will find that the special resources we provide each of our wedding clients will make your music selection easy and fun.  We are available by phone and email to help you with anything you need.

Can You Play My Special Requests?

We are happy to play your special songs at your wedding given at least 60 days notice, as long as you can provide suitable string quartet music.

Can You Accompany a Singer?

We can accompany a singer if the singer is fairly professional and experienced. We will need a copy of the score from their music to determine if we will be able to perform it.  We ask that any singers be proficient enough that a 15-minute rehearsal (usually enough time for one song) before the ceremony is sufficient.  If the rehearsal causes the total time go over the contracted hour and a half, a pro-rated fee will be added.

Do You Attend the Rehearsal?

Over the years, we have found that our consultations with brides and grooms during the months, weeks, and days before their weddings are more than sufficient to communicate all the details we need in order to perform a flawless wedding.  While we don’t usually attend rehearsals, if you would like one of us to be present or to help lead the rehearsal, we are happy to do so, but there would be an additional fee for our time.
